Good evening all, just wondering what steering wheel adapters and hubs others are using for their r53's. I bought a sparco steering wheel with a matching hub. The steering wheel looks amazing but when I went to attach the wheel hub adapter, the fitment was completely off. I called FCP Euro, which is where I bought the steering wheel and hub adapter from, and the guy pretty much told me that specific adapter is for the old mini cooper when it clearly showed the fitment status as "yes, this will fit 👍". So here I am now not really sure what adapter to get and what will go with the steering wheel. I'll attach a picture of the wheel below - I'm good with either a standard adapter or quick detach. Hoping somebody else has a similar setup 🤞

Yes, that looks like the hub that should actually fit a Gen 1 or r53 Cooper. The one I had ordered (on FCP Euro) had no spacing for the wiring to come through when I looked at it up close after getting it. This one on your website shows that there is space to pull the wires through so it should work perfect. Thanks for the link, I might have to make a late Christmas purchase 😉
Love the disclaimer at the beginning. Many people take this for granted. But being disfigured or confined to a wheelchair for the rest of your life while you could have avoided it is no fun whatsoever.
