Check Filler Cap light after fuel filter change

Hello all. I changed the fuel filter on my MCS R53 this morning. After a few miles of a test drive the check filler cap light came on. Any ideas on what is the issue?

Let me know when you can.

Thanks

Either a complete coincidence that the filler cap has a bad seal, or you didn’t get a good seal on the top of the tank when you closed it back up after the filter change. My money is on the latter…

I agree!
The filler cap warning is tank not holding pressure, bet the seal isn't properly "sealing"

You were correct, the tank seal had been pushed in when the filter pack was installed. Poor seal. Its really difficult to see the seal when installing.
Thanks
