Changed the fuel filter, and now no start?
Anyone else have this problem? I changed the fuel filter on my 2008 MCS and now it won't start. It just turns over and over. I have double checked the seals and O-rings, even disconnected the battery cables thinking I needed a "reset". No luck. I can hear the fuel pump behind the driver's seat come on briefly, but nothing else. Any ideas?

All good now!
Never mind guys(and gals), I got it. Turns out I didn't have the top part of the canister all the way back together. Finally put a little muscle to it, and got it to lock in place. All good now, purring like a kitten. I would recommend changing the filter at around 50,00 miles, it was definitely dirty, and I run name brand(Shell) gas from mostly one station, and they have such a high volume that the gas doesn't sit around in their tanks.

If it's like the 1st Gen filter housing, make sure that metal locking ring has been sufficiently turned far enough securing that filter housing....I have seen them unspin and pop off, then the filter begins to lift up leaving a rather unpleasant odor/fumes inside the car....eventually a yellow dash light will come on just as if your gas cap is loose
