I just wanted to take a quick second to introduce myself. I’m Matt and I live in Minneapolis, MN. When Mini’s first came back I briefly toyed around with purchasing a Cooper S, but they were far too pricey at the time and I ended up buying a VW Jetta instead. My car ownership history has since consisted of Volkswagens and Audi’s, amongst them a Golf, Touareg, a newer Jetta an S4, an Allroad and currently a Q7)

I’ve been looking to pick up a second vehicle for a while now and the first thing that came to mind was a Mini. So i kept an eye out and three weeks ago picked up a Dark Silver 2008 Cooper S JCW with 171k miles, by far the most amount of miles on a vehicle I’ve ever owned. This Mini has absolutely no body rust which is a miracle for Minnesota. I’ve been removing most of the previous owners modifications and repairing some of the small things.

It’s a total cliché but this car absolutely feels like a street going go-cart, I love how she absolutely rips when you get her into boost.

Only problem I see is that that stiff looking top won't fold back, other than that, a very nice catch indeed. Enjoy the heck out of it.
