Introduction...

Hey guys;

I just picked up a 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman S All4 in Feb. of 2021 with 74K miles on the odometer. It now has 86K as of this writing. As you can imagine, it already needs repairs. I honestly didn't want to work on the car, but I've taken it to a couple shops, and as you can imagine, I'm dissatisfied with their work and what they charge. $1,000 to fix an oil leak that now leaks again. Argh. So I guess it's time to work on the Mini myself.

Welcome! There is a bunch of decent information here in the forums, but there is also a ton of fluff. Fortunately, there were a British tonne of Minis produced, so plenty of support available.

Nice, I'm also in Albuquerque, maybe I'll see you around town.

If you're in the market for a roof rack, let me know. I'm selling my 2012 Countryman on Friday and am taking off anything I can. I don't really want to ship the roof rack if I sell it through the marketplace on here, so local would be great.
