BCM Question

Hi all. Still dealing with a body control module issue. My question for anyone that may know, can I use a BCM from a 02 (R50) in a 05 S model (R53)? I know it will need to be reprogrammed but wasn't sure if the non S model to an S model would make a difference. Thanks!!

My first thought it I will not work. The BMC, depending on which one you are replacing (I think that there is more than just one), controls things like the tail light assembly and the tail lights are different on 02.

Their is one for the R50/R53 Hardtop and one for the R52 Convertible and they have to be programmed.
