Just Ordered

I just placed my ordered for the 2005 MCS and I live in MI. I wanted to know how the car handles in the snow.

I drive from Okemos to Albion everyday and it is GREAT in the snow. I have DSC and 16" all-seasons on my '05 MCS. It is purely confidence-inspiring.

On Pirelli 17" runflat performance tires, not very well at all. I just got back from DTW from visiting the family over the holidays, and got a dose of Detroit snow. Thank God for DSC and anti-lock brakes!

As with most front wheel dirve cars it does pretty good. My Commute to work is about 70 miles each way, and twice this week it has been all snow. 4-8 inches all the way. Havent had any problems. Im running the 17's with Toyo Proxes 4 and they ahve been doing great. If this keeps up I will probably get some 15" wheels so i can put chains on if I need to.

I always drive with the DSC off in the snow, otherwise you may never get moving again if you stop.

The DSC is good once you are up to speed again. The big issue in the snow is ground clearance IMHO.

I ordered my MCS just recently (MotorCityMini).

A friend told me getting to work in the snow might be a problem.

I thought about that for a second and replied. "At first I thought that might be a problem too."

Thanks for the Replys it looks like I'll just have to wait and see for myself. I think I'll buy some Falken Azenis RT215 for the summer and use the All seasons in the winter.

Stone Out!!!!!!
