New kid on the block

Welp, here I am. Not much activity on mini2 forum. I am a volvo tech that got into Minis. I first owned a purple 05 R53, then a 11 JCW which gave all the usual problems! I rebuilt the engine with forged internals intending to go farther, but then realised it just doesn’t handle as good as the older ones. So I found an 06 JCW that I am still fixing up currently. It had a very small bump on the LH rear. I still have the R56, but I do want to sell it. And by the way, the 06 still has the certificate of authenticity with it!

Welcome to the forum. They both look good. It’s amazing how different the three generations are when they look so similar.

Yeah its amazing what a difference it is when the most predominant changes are the engine and steering rack. The older ones are just simply so much funner to rip around! By the way, does ny supercharger look rebuilt? 150k miles, I decided to pull it apart to check it

Yep that looks rebuilt. Or could have been those new JCW superchargers we had on sale a while back.

The ECS Tuning sticker give you at least 5+HP
