Looking for advice

Hello,
I'm new here and have been reading a lot of the threads on this forum, and have found lots of info I'm able to use.
I'm looking to buy my first MINI and have been searching for awhile and found two 2019 JCW's on a lot across the country-Canada. They are new cars with only 100 kms. The salesperson has already offered free shipping but is this a good idea?
The price as listed is $38000 cad and they are pretty fully loaded cars. Has anyone on here ever bought a car never having seen more than pics or video and if so what might be the things to look out for?
Thanks for your interest,
Russell

I bought my JCW sight unseen from a third party dealership 500 mi away and had it shipped to me. No issues aside from fuel level sensor had to be replaced, could be due to how in transport the car has to have very little fuel. The car had 9k miles on it, so I figured what could possibly be wrong with it and the car looked fantastic in the pics as well as in person. For new cars I would not have any hesitation. If this is the one you want and there's not alot on the market, I would feel comfortable having it shipped (plus free shipping saves you at least $500).

I would have no concerns with buying a new car sight unseen as long as I had driven one close enough to know that I would like it when it shows up. My main concerns would be the engine/transmission combination and the seats.

I couldn’t imagine buying a used car sight unseen but many people do that as well.

Good luck. Post some pictures when it arrives.
