About a month ago I came into possession of a 2010 Mini Cooper S. It was not actually a car I had planned on ever owning, but I could not pass up the deal. It had been severely abused by an 18 year old before being involved in a fairly minor accident. I have worked out most of the mechanical issues at this point. I had the foot well module reprogrammed, put a new high pressure fuel pump in, new water pump, and a few other minor things. All that is left is to repair the damaged front end. In the couple of days since I got it running well, I have had an absolute blast driving the car! I had recently gotten into autocross before our current state of social distancing started so I plan to use the car for that once we are able to start up again. It seems like the perfect car for it. I also have a 1974 Corvette that I am currently working on, and I recently sold my 1975 280z.
Nice! Welcome to the wold of Mini ownership. May you have much fun motoring in the coming years.
I noticed that you posted an inquiry to my marketplace listing for a pepper white bumper cover. Yes, it's still available.
Because you have so few posts on the forum, we can't private message each other yet; but I'm happy to communicate with you here if you're interested in the bumper cover. :-)
