Hello everyone,

I've always had a soft spot for the classic minis. They've always been a very cool car to me and seem like they would be a ton of fun to own(maintain) and drive. I'm finally at a point in my life where I can comfortably purchase a "toy". So, I've just purchased a 1974 Innocenti Mini 1300 and am currently awaiting delivery from the Portland area. I'm sure I'll be stalking these forums regularly and am looking forward to learning from all of you.

Yep, first American born in my family. My grandparents (Oma and Opa) grew up in Amsterdam and moved to the States in the 70s.

 

Yep, Jeremy facilitated the sale between myself and one of his friends. It was great working with him!

 

Figured, I was born and raised in South Africa, speaking Afrikaans as my first language. So I noticed the huis instead of house.
