Hi Everyone. I'm a new Mini owner of a 2011 Cooper S that was my dad's. He passed in early May this year, so it's a very sentimental car to me. I've been researching a bunch of different things about the ins and outs of the car, and this site has been helpful in finding many answers. I look forward to many more wonderful years with this car, and to hopefully making my dad proud of how I'm taking care of it. Thanks for the add!

You Dad knew why he liked a Mini, now you can find out why he did!
A few things up front: Make sure to only use full synthetic engine oil and change filter every time you change the oil (some don't you know) (foolishly).
It is also very important to use premium fuel 91+ octane. Keep the tire pressure up, as a low tire can put you off the road, if you are pushing it in the twisties.
Have fun with it, as I am sure your dad (maybe quietly) pushed it for the fun of ownership!
