New to the forum and to Mini.
Great forum! Crazy amount for knowledge here!
After 10 + years focused on messing around with motorcycles decided to
pickup four wheeled hobby to work on and enjoy.
Came across a 09 MCS in good shape. Took it for a drive was instantly hooked reminded me of my 89 Mr2 from years ago.
Previous owner had in the past 2 years replaced a few of the common issues
known. Water pump, thermostat, high pressure fuel pump the Mini also just had the tires brakes and bushings replace. Decided it was a good start so pick it up the next day (about a month and a half ago).
After a week or so of driving and more research noticed a small oil leak (turbo oil line).

Made the decision to park the Mini, order the parts needed to repair the oil leak also ordered the timing chain kit, seals, gaskets, bolts, and tools needed. Spent the following weekend in the garage repairing the Mini. All went to plan the Mini
came out better then when it went in but quite the task.

Add silicone hoses (delete) both hot and cold side, K&N filter, larger intercooler
eibach spring and a set of black wheels.

Really enjoying the Mini too bad winter is coming!

Been looking for the Alta Accessport if anyone has a lead or lede?
