Introduction new Owner of a 2011 Clubman JCW

Hey all!

I am the proud new owner of a single-owner 2011 Mini Cooper Clubman JCW. I was stoked to find this car and it seems to be in amazing condition! Here is the original sales ad: https://www.northwesteuro.com/detail...ubman/57716198

I have previously owned a couple BMW's (2011 335xi and 2016 M3) and most recently have been driving a 2008 S2000 (nice weather) and a beater 2001 Subaru Forester. I decided to look at a more combined solution that gives me the fun of driving and some of the bells and whistles while still be pretty practical. This car fits that bill very nicely. :D

Looking at the Carfax this car has been very well cared for. It looks like all of the servicing had been done at Crevier Mini in California. I gave them a call to see if I could get a copy of the maintenance records but it didn't sound like they were willing to release those which is a bummer.

Anyway, I am glad to be here and have this great little car to drive everyday!

-Jason

Beautiful car, congrats!

Only thing holding that car back from showroom fresh is the fading cladding. Have a search around on ways to get it back to black and I guarantee people will be asking you if it's a 2019 model year. =D (One of the perks of timeless design)

Nice fun list of other cars, the MINI will fit right in. I've been toying with the idea of an older Forester as a practical car, but they are either falling apart or over priced up here in the salt belt.

Welcome to NAM!

Agreed, one of my orders of business is to get a good detail done on it which would include getting those panels cleaned up and back to a nice black finish.

Cool! I am actually hoping to come across the previous owner of this one just to get his thoughts on its history.

Congrats! What great looking/loaded Mini! I am not a fan of bigger sized Mini's, But The JCW Clubman is an exception, to me. Yours looks so nice in fact, that I may have to look for one!
The important thing here is to keep up on the oil changes (5000miles). Only use full synthetic oil and only premium 91+ octane fuel!
I know you will enjoy this Mini!

Thanks. Yeah, I am pretty **** when it comes to maintenance (hence why I would like to get the previous records). I will definitely take good care of this car.

Welcome and Congrats that's a great choice as I have a 2012 JCW Clubman that is my daily driver shop car and love it. Plus it's totally not stock now so it's an even better errand car.
