As a longtime owner of a R53, I suspect you have a lot of wisdom to share, don't be a stranger.
CCiPhantom: I suspect it will continue to get harder and harder to find good first generation MINIs. My bet is that the value of the better ones will begin to increase in a year or two. The same will happen to the good second generation MINIs in a few years.
