Hello NAM World
Hello NAM World
Hey, my name is Joel. Been a lurker for a couple of months, as I bought a R53 with the understanding of the amount of work required.
Current work,
Replaced the Power Steering pump and fan,
replaced the alternator,
changed the rotors (previous owner did not seem to understand the difference in sizes from rear to front.)
chased a leaky wire,
had a fair share of cussing and bloody knuckles
Now, I had to become a member to try and locate a funny noise.
Although I have had a lot of fun troubleshooting this car, not quite sure I want to do it again. It is a learning experience for sure when it comes to BMW.

Hi and welcome to the NAM family!
Congrats on getting an R53! What years is it and where's the pics?
Make sure to get to the gen 1 area here and look into stock problems!
It is vitally important to use 100% synthetic oil and only use high octane fuel!
