Hello, from Houston, Tx!

Hello! My name is Matt. I'm in Houston, Tx and just scooped my first mini! 2015 Mini Cooper S hardtop with the 2.0 under the hood! Already have huge plans for this car and it will be tuned for 260hp before my plates even come in! Super excited for this car and happy to be on the forums!(:

Thank you! Extremely happy and motivated for this build. I actually had a 2013 mini back in november of 2017 for less than 24 hours before it lost compression.. Dealer didn't want to fix it so we called it a lemon and they were super quick to make the return. So after a year of being in an infiniti g35 I could never fall in love with, I'm back in a mini!

Absolutely! Thank you sir! I'm going to hold off on the tune and go with a 1.2 inch drop and some wheels and tires first. Then onto the tune! Just having trouble deciding what size to run. I'm unsure if I could clear 17x8 wheels (while keeping stretch to a minimum). So I may keep the size at 16 and increase the width to 8.

Welcome to the forum. Make sure you know what you are looking to achieve before you start modifying. A lot of people advise against larger wheels due to the harsh ride.

We need to see some pictures!

For sure man! I will upload some asap. I'm usually on this forum from my work computer. So I don't have any pics of my car on here. Lol But I may end up doing some 17x8 or 16x8.5
