Congrats! Making cars are own is what it's all about. Glad the dealer is taking good care of you. Any more pics of the Volvo? Always liked they way they looked. Also nice 02! You've definitely have good choices for transportation

@peterpan101 Thanks for the reply - and i hear you on the 'making these our own'. I am looking fwd to having fun both n the city and on the winding roads out of town. A little more practical while still being fun.

Past cars weren't always great city vehicles: Good second or weekend cars... The old cliche'd car ads of hitting redline on empty roads with perfect camber carved turns......aint happening in my commute. The '02 is fun - but those crumple zones and chrome bumpers not so much with today's parallel parking skillz/ parking by braille.

The C30 was great: as a GT not a hot hatch. Bulletproof. sensible. and different. Tuning options were very limited. and pricey to get HP gains. Debadged and in black it was very stealth, and rapid. 350 ft/Ibs and a flat curve. Not sure the orange mini will allow the same 'what just blew my doors off' experience tho.

We'll that's a bummer, reason to find a "funner" company to work for. Yeah just converted the wife, so now no matter what we take it's a MINI. And the yellow is definitely less stealthy then black

I almost bought the C30 just before I bought the F56. I covet a nice 2002, I wouldn't have an issue with parking because I probably wouldn't park it anywhere if it looked as nice as yours.

Welcome to the forums and the color match trim rings are nice. Enjoy your new car, it is surely a blast to drive.

Hi and welcome to NAM and congrats on your statement Mini!
It looks great!
You seem to have a handle on it, so I won't bore you with maintenance, but make sure to only use 100% synthetic oils and premium only fuel.
Keep us posted on how you are doing with your new rig!
