2009 clubman first time mini owner
Stopping in to say hello and very happy that the mini community is here to help with all aspects of mini ownership. It's a clubman s and by reading a few thousand posts here I fell very confident in buying a car with the n14 engine. So yes, I'm going in with my eyes wide open. I've got a few mods that I have planned but first is making the motor tip top, safe and reliable. First is walnut blasting, vacuum pump delete and and dual OCC install.
I do my own work and also have a 64 deVille Cadillac and a 77 mercury colony park wagon. Both are in outstanding condition.

No pictures yet, the dealer is still doing work on it to make the deal. Sometimes it pays to go to a new car dealer 😎 new brakes, windshield, clutch, continental run flats and timing chain to name most of what's being done. My plans once it's in my driveway are, walnut blast on the valves, engine flush and amsoil change, brake flush, antifreeze flush, cam driven vacuum pump delete of my design and a two day paint correction. I will also be discreetly rust proofing it and any other items that need addressing will be taken care of.
this was going to be a winter summer beater but really like this car. It looks like I found a winter car in great shape from my brother and his wife. 2002 Chrysler in excellent shape with very low miles. They bought it for my niece to drive for a few years and she recently bought a new car. Lucky me 😆
