An 08 Mini Cooper S has it's challenges, but can be a good car, if you know their weaknesses and what to do to overcome them. Make sure to change with only full synthetic oil and a new filter every 5000 miles at most, as these engines are known to carbon up the intake system. Go to the gen 2 section and stock problems there, to see how to keep your Mini in tip top shape!
