on my 2014 convi, in order for the top to operate, the shelf need to be present and mounted in the trunk to make contact with a switch.

Yes I’m aware of that, but here the problem is Also with the side windows the rear ones, they are supposed to go Down? I took apart the left panel behind the driver side to inspect the relays and see if I could see the actuator that brings down the side windows but negative I didn’t see a thing nada.
Are this windows going down or stay up?
I bought it like that so never saw it with the convertible down here are the pics
