Greetings from Oklahoma

Hello. New guy here. New to NAM and new to MINIs! Picked up an '05 S almost three weeks ago. The love affair has begun! I'm coming from the Jeep world, so this is quite a departure from my norm for the last decade. No, I did not get rid of the Jeep, its just moving to weekend warrior duty.

Chris

Hi and welcome to NAM!
Congrats on your 05 MCS buy. 05 and 06 are best years!
Get all the maintenance done, before the mods start, as the addiction can blur your senses!

Welcome to the forum. Great looking MINI. By the way MINIs are great for weekends too, although I would avoid the big rocks with the MINI.

Welcome to NAM.

In the past a member said a MINI was like a "Rat on Acid" where I liken it to a "Squirrel on Speed". You now have both a rock climber and a canyon carver.

and yes, that is a great looking 13 year old car . . . . . .

Welcome - sharp looking Mini.

As already stated, big rocks and little mini's don't go together.

You did the right thing. So, don't deny the MINI some weekend warrioring. The everlasting hills of Oklahoma have a lot to offer to some spirited motoring. Also, not far away from you in October is MITO held at Eureka Springs. They've organized a bit over 20 day trips thru some fabulous byways.

The site's not set up for this year's event yet but you can get a good feel for what's going on.
