Hey guys! Been into the euro scene since I was a kid, always thought minis were cool but was obsessed with my VW and Audi stuff among many other project cars. Got an opportunity to buy a super clean 04 Cooper S from a friend last week who scored a clean e36 m3 and offered me the car at a crazy price so I jumped on it. I immediately started looking for parts and stumbled across another r53 in Vermont for a killer price and couldn’t resist so I jumped on that also! Guess I jumped in both feet on it but that’s how I always do things so it seems alright. The road trip to get the second car was pretty epic as I left home in central NY and drove trough lake George and some really hairy backroads with my crew cab long box Powerstroke daily driver and trailer up and down sheer ice hills through Vermont and decided to head further north upon picking the car up to the ferry across Lake Champlain and into Plattsburgh, NY. From there I took all the backroads through the Adirondacks Past my families land where we camp and out of the park and home once again! Very excited to dig into both of these cars. Very open to any help on recommended mods and upgrades for the cars as I never so much as visited this site and browsed around before buying these cars! One is an 04 hard top cloth interior car with a six speed, the other is an 06 with the panoramic roof and leatherette. Both are bone stock and will need to quickly be remedied of that condition! I’ll theow a few pics of each and the journey that I just made yesterday for the second car. Looking forward to a cool car community again as when I started having kids (4 of them as of now lol) I started to sell off the last of my hoard of VW/Audi stuff (big turbo mk4 and an s4 Avant in imola yellow I still wish I had) I kind of fell off from the local site which is now defunct and the vortex which seems much different now than it once was... anyways here’s some pics of the cars!!

the 06 was a Florida car but still shows some bubbles on one taillight and the 04 was from jersey and doesn’t have any rust! And yes those are three places all within a stones throw from my house! I keep my cars at a friends shop about a mile from the Amber inn, my cousin used to work at skanellus when we were kids and we drive down for the cruise ins during the week with my kids and wife and the cutlery is sadly half gone and the remaining half is now offices and condos... I have some special knives from there I will pass down one day and tell my kids how great of a knife company it once was!!
to everyone else thanks for the welcome and glad you enjoyed the shots! Hopefully many more to come as I tear into both cars and come spring get to really enjoy being behind the wheel!!
