Hi all

Hey all, names Garrett...New to the miniverse...just got a 2010 r56 auto, all stock with aftermarket 18's on 35 series tires. Planning on switch to 17's with a 45 series, Gonna do some lowering springs, intake (already have ideas on how to custom make one) and full custom exhaust from my exhaust shop. Just got it a few weeks ago and have been in this site everyday since so I decided I may as well register and try to contribute. I planned on just fixing a couple of things and flipping g it but after driving it for a few days I love the way it handles and the gas mileage. Plus the h-k 8 speaker system is pretty bitching. The aftermarket supply is better then my maxima was, and so far from what I can tell the members here are pretty helpful and non combative unlike many of the other forums I've been on. Anyways I suppose that's it.

18's with BMW caps on existing caps (which kind of annoys me).

Looks like a great MINI. Congratulations. One of the things I love about MINIs is that someone can say "all stock with aftermarket 18's on 35 series tires". Other brands, that would clearly be not stock. With MINI and the supplier base, the options are endless and changing the wheels is a small change.

4 18's in the back! Still had plenty of room for two in front!
Will get better pics up once it's all clean and daytime. But now on superspeed (?)17x7s wrapped in 215/45's neuton nt5000... much better ride then the 18s, and imo looks way better And grown up!

Dropped 8 pounds of rotating mass per wheel, deffinetely noticeable. Gonna start mocking up some intake ideas I got...and checking into deleting the intake mufflers and sound dampners. I like the wooooshh! Get as many freebie/cheapie mods I can. Then deal with the suspension after my wedding in June.

H&R's new kumho 215-45's, full charge pipe noisemaker delete. Just got some carbon fibet wrap for mirror caps and a-panel but it's currently 18° outside so that's gonna have to wait until it's at least tolerable

Owning a MINI is contagious. Just a heads up. You may end up with a second- or a close friend or family member will - it just happens.
