Lurker w site issue

Im a new owner of an R56 N16 automatic, Im really enjoying it, studying the features in the owners manual, and reading all the relevant forum topics I can during breaks.

I recently discovered the 2nd gen Non S section of this fine forum and Im 5 pages in and I get a highly intrusive pop up that alerts me that I have a virus and that I must download some kinda appto fix it.
This has happened to me more than 5x here, I could have gone on lurking until. i had something to bring to the table after reading and making myself familiar....but I had to register to say "wtf's w this virus nonsense? Im tryin to read here!"

That stinks.

What browser are you using? Sometimes I get warnings on legit sites. Might be the ads are triggering a virus alert.

Welcome to NAM!

Try the Chrome browser for Android. I have never had a problem with it. Pop up ads are really annoying, I generally run my browser with a plug in that disables all that stuff. Any pop-up that tells you that you have a virus and need to download something is probably a virus you already have.

Nope happens here and here only, no other pop ups...maybe I'll take a screenshot next time it happens. Seems to happen around page 5 or 6 of the Non S section here that Ive noticed it.
