New member
New to the forum and new owner of a 2006 mini. Looking forward to learning a lot from everyone about this car. Didn't think I'd ever buy a mini. Do to my wife I bought it and now I can't stop driving it. Lol! What brought me here is that I have the mini with navigation and want to change my radio. But crunchfield states if I go aftermarket my nav will stop working. What? Excited about the car and hope to have fun with the car & this community.

That's what's great about a MINI - you can line up projects for years ahead. I want to upgrade the exhaust system, change the interior to tan leather and wood, and upgrade the wheels and tires - but those are projects for down the road...

Cordoba Beige and a factory wood dash? Do you have the factory HK upgrade? If so I would just leave it with the nav and get the latest update. The old disk is nla but some people have burned the old disc, they are in this thread.
