Hello all, just joined NAM with an account. I have been reading and learning from you guys since beginning of last year when i purchased an 04 r53 for my wife. Since then i have fallen in love with her car and have decided to modify the car to make it a fun daily and occasional canyon car. I live in bradenton FL and am looking to get some modifications finished up for MOTD this year so i will be browsing the classifieds. thanks to all before me for posting so i can learn.

Very nice BRG Mini! Love the fact that you bought this car for your wife and are now smitten by it. That's happened to all of us in one way or another. Gonna be driving a bit to get to a canyon from Bradenton (see your plans to get to MOTD), but that's a big part of the fun with these cars. Welcome to Minidom.

There are some decent Mini driving roads up around Tallahassee. There is a state park with a cave not far away. Having lived down on the Gulf Coast for a little over 20 years, pancake flat and straight lines come to mind.

MOTD, now you are talking as well as the roads around Highlands and Cashiers.

 

Do they have any track days down at Sebring?

 

Welcome, looks like you have some upgrade, larger intercooler and the open wheel/ wheel well mod. Very cool.

 

you mention interest in MOTD ..... do you have a reservation? Cuz rooms for this sell out WAY in advance IME alto there are places to find rooms reserved but now available because of a change in plans ... or folks who have an extra bedroom in a cabin that they offer to split costs .....
