New owner of a 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman S. aka MCCS, aka R55 S, aka "The Football". Its like being back in the military with all the codes and acronyms.
Where in Chicago?
I'm actually in Carpentersville. But when speaking to a national audience saying Chicago is more commonly known.
First mod will be a simple and inexpensive one. Changing the puddle lights to throw the mini logo or some other fun graphic onto the pavement. Something simple yet fun that my kids (all under 11) will take an affinity to.
Second mod will be updating / swapping out the dome light for a post refresh dome light. Only complaint from the back seat is that they cannot turn on or off their own lights. They got spoiled by the Honda Odessy.
Not sure what the HC stands for... High Contrast?
OK I looked it up HC = Hot Chocolate. Yes the exterior is the Hot Chocolate.
Which is why my wife calls it The Football. Interior is two tone black & grey bucket seats with the cream arm rests and wood trim handle and panels. After riding with the seats this past few weeks, I really like them. Not sure I would have felt the same about the other style. I do wish the buyer would have sprang for the lumbar option. I will try to attach the photo of my interior...
Technically I guess my first mod was buying the mini brand floor liners ( not mats ). For front and back. Highly highly highly recommended. Such a wonderful fit and they look awesome, but were purchased after the photos were taken.

Yep hc= Hot chcolate. The HC interior with HC leather seats is rare, that why I asked. Congrats, looks like you have the wood dash and polar beige color color line.
