First time Mini Owner - 2012 MCS - W/lots of options

*Edit* Slow Moving "Build" Thread *Edit*

Well here it is folks, my newest purchase.

It's got leather, heated seats, panoramic roof, Sport package, Mini connect, Harmon Kardon audio, all the nifty lighting effects...and I'm sure I'm missing something...

It's also got some upgrades installed, bilstien coilovers (not sure which ones yet) Typhoon intake, Brola catback (at least that's all I can see so far), some kind of camber plates, Alta lower arms, and a Moroso oil/air separator.

PICS!! Enjoy :-)

Nice you found it with Bilsteins and the Alta control arms . Someone put some mod love into it. Love the spice orange with the white top. That pops.

I'm back and forth on the top honestly, I like cohesiveness in the color scheme and the white, chrome, matte black, and then alloy wheels just doesn't do it for me right now.

I'm extremely happy with the car, just trying to figure out what I'm going to do to "bring it together"

Also, I agree, I seem to have found a car someone really enjoyed.

Hi JDY,
These cars are meant to be a little quirky in their looks. It is all about their attitude of a little car that does all things well in handling, power and comfort.
These are not meant to be generic pods with no class! The white top only adds to it's uniqueness. This car would look less than it does now, with the same color roof.
It has a good look!
Congrats on your purchase!

Change to black wheels on an orange car. That's what I have and it works believe it or not.

I can agree with this to a point, I feel the hood stripes have to go...

However with the right wheel color and separation of lines the white top could stay and look "cohesive"

I was thinking the same thing, I am thinking of going matte black on the all the trim and roof and try that for a bit with black wheels.

The beauty of plastidip is that if you don't like it you can just go back (as long as you take the time to do it right...lol)

Yes, time and focus and it should be ok. Once complete, the rock chips and road debris can flake up the plasti-dip some just watch for that.

If you need wheels let me know.
