Hi 66stang! I'm assuming you had one, as did I. '66 289 fastback, bright red, white racing stripes, Shelby header and parts, etc. Only crashed it once! Now, I love my R53, after having two racing Minis and another Cooper S for the street.

I have a 2012 S hardtop. I absolutely love getting to drive a gocart on the road, but I'm always looking for modifications. I with the accessport was still made (I'm considering going to the Juicebox). I also want to get some sway bars (I already have the sport suspension, but hey . . .). Most vexing to me is probably the intake. It seems like there aren't many good options out there so I'm considering just getting a K&N, but (in my Subaru days) I was told that the fibers can come unraveled and damage your turbo.
Really, my goal is to embarrass my friends that have Subarus . . .

Thanks for posting! I actually still have a 1966 Mustang (289). It was my first car, sold it, and thanks to my wife, bought it back a few years ago. You should go find yours!

My brother had it before selling a few years back. Could not believe how bad the drum brakes were back then compared to 4-wheel disc now!
