Hello everyone!
I have a 1986 Austin Rover that I picked up when I was stationed in Vicenza Italy. Its in awesome condition and love to drive here in Texas were I get confused looks since its so small. I'm in the Army and got selected to get out after serving for over 16 years. The current military down size is no joke! So I'm fortunate to get an early retirement and my days are ticking with a retire date of 1 Dec 16.
So as I write this I'm patiently waiting for my 2016 Countryman S, white, manual, to arrive in about a week. I'm excited and hope it arrives earlier since I have to pick it up from Brunswick GA and I'm in San Antonio TX.
I plan to get roof rails and put a cage/basket on top for easy moving of stuff on lat minute notice, also for camping trips with family. I don't plan to drop too much money on it right now but eventually wanted a bigger turbo. I'm looking at the Borla exhaust and wheel spacers. Hopefully I win on good used parts from members here.
I plan to start a youtube channel soon with plans to get a lot of viewers, hint hint.
Other than that I'm getting ready for the next chapter in life and looking for a follow on career as a public relations specialist, we shall see! have a good one.

Thank you for your service and congrats with the retirement. My son is in the Navy and went through medical training in San Antonio. He loved it there.
