Whats up fellow MINI family!

I'm currently living in South Florida and not so recently purchased my second MINI Cooper (had an old supercharger) at the Braman dealership in WPB. I've been thrilled driving my 2015 2.0L 4Dr S hardtop. However, after the last 4 months I've got a itch to kick it up a notch on performance and customizing my ride.

After reading some great posts as a guest here, I decided to invest in my first real MOD with the Burger JB4+, and man what a difference. I have come across an ample amount of smack about the "girls car" I own at work, which made it so much sweeter when I took my buddys Charger RT (on the track of course).

So I'm looking for you guys to help me add the best HP gains and MODS to make my MINI look and perform at the highest level. In my short term plans, I would like to lower the car enough to eliminate the fender gap with coolest looking wheels and the widest tire possible without rubbing.

I would really like your input on the best way to lower it to reduce gap along with your suggestions on wheels and tires size...and spacers if necessary. If I could get away with only a spring change that would be awesome, but I'm open to coil over if thats the only real way to go.

To be honest I cant really decide on wheel style. My car is black and I'm kinda liking the black with some polished accents, but polished or all black is not out of the question. I love the deep dish look but I'm also favoring the ole school bbs look - and with lowering I'm a little confused on what offset I should go with.

Currently I'm looking at a spring kit and adjustable lower control arms to get an even wear on tires. Then adding either 17" 215 x 45 or 18" 215 x 40 wheels/tires with a 42-45 offset.

Then comes the next HP upgrade...maybe a K&N filter (stock insert prolly and no CAI cause I dont think CAI will do much) and an exhaust....but I'm also undecided on the best bang for the buck here as well.

Cant wait to hear from the experts here. Look forward to talking to you.

Welcome to NAM! If you want to get input about mods for it, drop in and check out the F56 section HERE. Did you show the people at work the MINI commercial that was played during the Super Bowl? Lowering wise, I always prefer coils over springs. I feel like all my friends always go for springs and then eventually end up paying for coils due to having more adjustability, but that may not be something you'll be concerned with. If you plan to take it to the track more often than not, I'd suggest coils as well. Post a picture of your F55 for us when you can. That might help us with the wheel color choice.

Thanks PP, the guys have seen the commercial and its all good, just typical shiz talk. I'll definitely plan to head to the different sections on suspension and mods. I doubt if I'll do much on the track and although adjustments are nice. If I can get the proper height just on springs and a good wheel fit I think I would be happy...
I'll make sure to take some pics ASAP.

Hi there! Sounds like a great ride and lot's of fun. There are various stages of tuning and upgrading you can do, and knowing where to start is half the battle. There are a couple articles here that may help. Please let us know if you have any questions!
