New to NAM!

Hello everyone,

Actual mini owner as of February 20th 2015.

I love my MINI (course), her name is Blueberry.

She's an 04 MC in Indi blue metallic.

Was lurking for months finally registered.

Nothing as of yet. She has 100k miles and i didn't get any service records. So playing catch up and getting her running good at the moment. She got new shoes recently.

She's a 5 speed. Any affordable ones you recommend?

Are you just replacing or looking for a upgrade , for low dust and great pad. Akebono.

EBC and Hawk are great if you want a little more bite and low dust, the oem pads dust allot. See how low you pads are or if you are due. Check the rotors thickness also.

What are you looking for in mods, there are a bunch .

Run the VIN at the dealership, it older so you might only have the first 50,000 miles under service, but does give you an idea.

I got her pads checked last summer, was told they were at 90% but I'll get them checked again at her next MINI visit. Have had a cross county trip since then. She got her coast to coast achievement last month!

I'm not looking for anything difficult or intensive, mostly simple fixes or mods to start with. Want to gradually do things but not crazy into diy. I worry I'll hurt her since i don't really know more than basics. So baby steps for now. ..

Thank you!

I'm doing a headliner replacement these weekend. Going from OEM gray to black. I'm excited.

Very nice! I enjoy this mod a lot as it really brings everything in the interior together. Post some pictures for us once you get it finished.

Wonderful! It just makes the inside feel so much more unified. Have you thought about wrapping the pillars in the same material?

I have but i like the way the black headliner makes the pillars look like the acessories color. Think it's a nice combo together.

I got it at Hancock fabrics. It was severely discounted because hancock is going out of business. They had six or seven colors though to choose from. I got the blackest black.

Hope you can find one near you!
