ok first off i have a 2011 mini coupe countryman a year ago my key died it will open the doors remotely but will not start the car
now my 2nd key when placed in the slot i get a warning the key battery is low WHAT THE HELL! they car is ment to recharge the battery while in the car how can both keys die? it is 215$ for a new key well what if that one dies in a year? i DO NOT have they key you can replace a battery in by popping off the back HELP i cant really afford 215$ for a new key right now nor can i afford to not have a car if this key stops working my car will be useless please help!

1. Try to run that key fob all the time, make longer trips so it will recharge , rotate the older keys in and out every so often.
