Hello and question

Hi everyone! I am new to the Mini community and am very excited to be part of such awesome forum. I have been reading a lot about the 2013 R56 JCW and I am seriously thinking about taking the plunge. For example, I came across this posting the other day:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ctory-jcw.html

Can anyone tell me whether this is a (relatively) good deal? According to Consumer Reports, 2013 JCW is the most reliable (again, relative to previous years). I don't have a lot of extra money to pay for repair so I am doing my best to make sure that this is a good move.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and support!

Having warranty for a year plus is great as long as you are going to put some miles on to work out any issues. For pricing do some searching on some of the used car sites like car gurus dot com to see the competition.

cars.com ... other car sites, on the MINI forums you will find rare options and MINI that in general are taken care of people owners are fanatical about there MINI here. So that's a plus. The 2013 JCW have the n18 engine in JCW form which has been better then the N14 MCS ( older MINIs. ).

Welcome to NAM! I remember seeing that MINI for sale. Looks super clean. As always, it's a really good idea to get a pre-purchase inspection done by a MINI indy shop so that you know what condition it is in before you commit to the purchase. I'd also suggest checking out https://www.truecar.com/#/ for pricing comparison as well. Good luck and hope you are able to get it!

Thanks everyone for the suggestion. I have priced out the car according to the websites that you had suggested, and it came out to be just right. Looks like the car is fair market value. Going to throw my hat in for a bid... wish me luck!

Yep, 2013 JCW Hardtop 6-spd. I bought it yesterday and the car will be shipped back to the East coast by next week. Very excited. I am already eyeing the underbelly pan the rear diffuser. Please keep me in mind if there's any upcoming group buy!
