Hi Guys, new user here. I bought a used 2008 MINI Cooper S last October and haven't looked back. It was in great condition (still is) and it came with the Sports Package.
The previous owner was nice enough to even transfer his extended warranty (diamond/platinum package) to me. I will post a few pictures later on.

The only problem was the TPMS, which I need to replace the sensors for, but I will address that in a separate thread.

I would to hear from you guys a few tips regarding keeping my MINI in good shape (engine, interior, etc.) moving forward.

Welcome.

Important to keep it going change the oil. We recommend every 5k. Otherwise premium fuel drive it and maintain.

 

In addition to oil and quality gas, check and change all fluids.

 

Welcome to NAM and congratulations! Always check your oil, it's a good habit to get into when filling up at the gas station. Just be sure to keep an eye out for oil leaks and tackle them as soon as you can. Keep up on the routine maintenance stuff as your MINI will appreciate it. Looking forward to the pictures of your R56.
