Answering about the ethanol question, I don´t believe there is a specific tune for our fuel. I´m runing my car with the JCW Pro Tuning Kit and the fuel trim works +10% to +15%. One I notice +26% when I fueled from a doubtful gas station.

I also using Unichip with a custom map. I´m not sure how much power the engine have, but it is almost catching the C63 AMGs.

The image it not so good, apparently I forgot to do something in the camera set up.



The BMW is delivering N20´s here in Brazil called Active Flex. They suppose to work with gasoline and with methanol only. But the engine is the same from the gasoline version, it only has a sensor capable to "read" the ethanol. The irony start when the dealer suggests to use only gasoline, ethanol only as a last option.

 

I´m 1000km away from Rio, I´m in Curitiba.

 

Impressive Mini. Great to have a track like that, too. Fun stuff! Your OZ wheels are effectively 38 et with the spacers. Good fit. Did you try them without the 10mm spacers in place?

 

with out the spacers, the wheels hit the front calipers... in the rear, it is ok with out them.

With 225/40 toyo r888 tires I had to remove the rear spacers, the tires hit hard the inside of the fender. Here are some pictures from the suspension working with r888.










I´m using the OEM alignment in these pictures... The rear have 2° of camber and 0 of toe. I did a new setup of 1° of camber and 0,25° toe out. Let´s see what is going to happen.

I also puled the front and rear fenders a little bit out. Enough to cover the front wheels and I believe to clear any possible rubbing from the rear.

The plastic archers are now a little bit twisted, it is a job to be done in the future...

It is not a racing series, just casual track days.

The track is amazing, it´s a test for the car and driver.

The car´s performance on that day was great. I´m impressed with it´s balance.

The only thing missing is a stiffer suspension. Maybe on the future a clubsport suspension.
