Greetings from "Up Nort"!

Hey all! I get my first Mini tonight (2013 MCS)! Very excited and happy to have found such an active, friendly and informative community. I will miss my last car (2005 GT Cruiser w/ high output turbo, faster than any JCW's I encountered), but I am looking forward to having a car that can handle the curvy (is that a word?) hills that make Wisconsin such a fun place to live. I have been "lurking" in the "things you didn't know about your R56" forum for about a week and have already learned a ton! Such a fun and unique little car! Again, I look forward to "talking" with many of you and hope to someday have some insights to pass along to other new owners as you all have for me. Feel free to ask anything about me, I am an open book.

Welcome

That 2.4L SRT-4 engine is a beast indeed. That said, you're spot-on about the MINI being a better handler in the curves.

Enjoy!

Yeah, I had the Stage 1 chip, cold air intake and larger Turbo. Might be why I blew out the auto trans...lol
And thank you for the welcome!

Welcome to NAM! Post up some pictures of your MINI for us when you get the chance. I know a few people from Wisconsin and a friend who just graduated from a University in Appleton!

Middleton! Important information: I once skinny dipped in lake Mendota. You're welcome.
