New R56 owner here

Hello all!

A couple months ago I went to Springfield Hyundai to get a '12 Elantra Limited but wound up taking home my 2010 R56 Oxygen Blue hardtop.

Really loving this car. It's been a blast so far. My brother has a '05 Conv in Cali and he loves his.
I picked up a S spoiler off CL for $80 and am currently repainting it black to match the roof. Plans are to get a set of summer wheels and put the R100's away for the winter.
I would love to hear opinions on stock 16s for Non-S. I have seen a few sets on CL here in Philly but I really love the way the car handles and drives with these light 15s. I am looking at rota gt3 15x7 wheels as they're lighter than the 13.7lb R100s. I've already destroyed 17's on my old 200sx due to the potholes here. I really don't want to deal with cracked/bent wheels again.

I really love this site.

wasn't really looking for a mini but took it out for a spin on a whim and was hooked. price was right, had pretty much everything I was looking for in a car except leather.

still having lots of fun with it.

added 10" custom sub/alpine amp [perfect addition to HK system], 16" X-Lites with 205/50's [love not riding on runflats!], mini antenna, Scosche Magic Mount [best phone holder ever! - have one in all 3 cars]

adding front fogs and rear fog/chrome trim with custom switch/wiring, 4.5" backup lcd/camera, new front lower Mayfair grill

still haven't finished spoiler as I can't get the clear to lay nice enough so I may have to have it professionally done..

Hi...just found you guys! What a bunch of experienced knowledgeable folks here! A few months ago, I bought a 2007 MC...not the S model! This thing has about 137,000 miles on it but still kicks butt! I have it in right now getting serviced...nothing special...just the basics. I already figured out how to change the oil...and I must say this is the second easiest change I've ever done...right up there with my 1972 Super Beetle! Anyway, I'm gonna poke around the site...I plan to stick around for a long time...so I hope you don't get sick of me!
