Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dave and I am a big time car guy. I have owned over 30 cars so far throughout my driving years but this is my first dive into the Mini pool. I picked up a 2008 Mini Clubman S about 3 weeks ago. So far I am really liking it! Such a blast to drive. It was pretty much stock when I got it, but I cant leave anything stock. I have already added some new wheels and tires to it (Drag DR-34's with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires), blacked out the belt line, grill trim, and mirrors, tinted the windows, added a stubby antenna and added a snazy R55 go badge.

On the list of things to do still is blacking out the remaining chrome pieces (door handles, gas cap, and headlight rings) and upgrading the stereo.

I look forward to participating on this site. I hope to learn a lot here and will hopefully meet some other local Mini enthusiasts!

Congratz and Welcome! Great choices on the Mini and great looking vehicle. Motor on car man. I have a similar fetish with cars ....was really surprised with my Mini ..had no idea how much fun they are.
