Hey everyone! I just purchased my new-to-me 2003 Cooper S for a new daily driver! Just gave up my Volvo 240 because it get horrible gas mileage and let's face it, it's not a fun car to drive.

The Mini will be joining my 1983 BMW 528 that I'm building into a track/fun car. For now it's time to dig into the Mini and fix the little nuances that are wrong before I jump into things such as exhaust, pulleys, intake, other fun car parts. I work on Porsche racecars for a living so the Mini should be a fun little car to get around in.

Show us some pix of your E28, I always liked those cars.

 

Just stopped by Way and got some fun parts by means of a DDM intake and boot, and a supercharger pulley kit for more fun.

As for my E28, here it is. It's parked right now because the release bearing gave out. I've got an M52 for it at the engine shop right now waiting on custom pistons and some machining.



It's not for everyone, but it's most definitely for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ the BMW will be the track car, and the Mini is the daily. A little backwards but I love the BMW and would prefer to have it as my project.
