I just bought my first MINI. It is a 2005 Mini S convertible. I know NOTHING about the various models of Mini's, but I will be learning with help from you all.

The bad part is that I will not be taking delivery of the car until April. BUMMER, but, as the car has 3,500 original miles, I'll wait. The original owner has a house in Key Largo and this was his 'around town, for 4 months of the year.

I will be lurking around here sucking up knowledge until I can finally take possession. Let the fun begin...

 

Wow, 3500 original miles. That's amazing. Congratulations on finding a car with that many low miles. It must be in great shape. Does it have service records?

 

Yes, it will have all the documentation. I may have to wait until April when the owner gets back in town. The car is in storage in Ohio and the owner is in Fl. for the winter. This was the car the owner used at a winter home in the keys. He always used a car shipper to transport the car.

I can't even get pictures :( . I have seen the car once, when it was new. I have know the owner most of my life. You should see his other cars...
