Hi all!

A few days ago I finally made the leap from Bimmers to Minis when I bought a 6-sp 2.0L S! It is total fun!!

Only thing...I did not get the exact color combo I wanted. It is Thunder Gray and looks like a fat raindrop (origin of my username). I want to change the mirror caps and bonnet stripes, maybe pinstripes? I know the mirror caps would make a huge difference visually, but I cannot find caps in colors I like. Has anyone had the primed ones painted?

Personally, I think the F55 is the best non-M Series 4-door that BMW has made in a long time...

BTW, I test drove a '12 JCW the same day I bought my Mini. To me, it was worth trading comfort and features for a bit of oomph. 10 years ago, I would have gone for it.
