Hey All. Proud owner of a 2005 cooper S. Looking to put a new summer setup on the car. Keep the old wheels and winter tires for the winter but have a second set of wheels and tires for fair weather. So I was wondering what are the max dimensions for a wheel and tire combo to fit on the car. If different sizes fit to front and back, that's fine. Just want the widest tires possible on this car with relatively slim sidewalls and on the max possible diameter rim (I'm guessing around 17 or 18" rims with slim sport tires). Also need tire recommendations. I've heard Continental ExtremeContact DW and Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position are good. Any other suggestions? Okay. Thanks so much, hope to heard tons of input!
