Been away from Mini for too long...

Long time mini fan, former R53 owner with some Turner Motorsport bits n pieces. I've been into VW's with a couple of GTI's since the mini and started falling for the countryman recently thanks to Duell... I guess technically I bought it for my wife to replace our Jeep Commander, but in the two days we've owned it I've joined 3 forums and have barely been able to keep my hands off tearing it apart. I have some ideas to toss around but it won't be long before the UPS man is stopping more frequently at my door....

Welcome home! Nice car and dog. How are you liking the turbo I stead of the supercharger?

I'm loving it! The supercharger was amazing, especially with two fewer doors than countryman but I do love me a turbo car. I had two turbo GTI's and we also had a friend Mazdaspeed 3 in the garage at one point (wife's)... I'm partial to a turbo...

It's sure is, Amesbury MA. On the north shore. That place is amazing! The owner, Will Turner, is also the proud owner of 2 McLaren F1s among countless e30 m3s, etc.... If you're ever in the area, look him up! I know from experience that you could get a hands on look at one of the McLarens ...

I went to highschool in the Newbury/Newburyport area, I know the area well. Bavarian auto sport is just up the road in Portsmouth, NH too. They have a good selection of BMW and mini parts and accessories there as well.
