Bought a Mini!!!

Obligatory first post, after looking at many different cars, went with a 2010 Mini Cooper from Carmax (got the 100,000 mi, 6 yr warranty).

Pedal feel is good, love the shifter and short throws. Mostly my wife will be driving but it's a lot of fun even without turbo. Great gas mileage and options installed on it. We have the spare tire (not run-flat tires) and moon-roof, I think those are the only installed options.

This is the stock image of our car, different wheels on ours though, only 5-spoke 15" wheels.

Congratulations on your newest family member and welcome to the club of MINIacs! Just you wait... the "mod bug" is about to bite! Find a local club and go for a fun day of motoring with them and see what your treasure really can do, not to mention meet some other enthusiasts!

What's the mini wave? Is that when you wave to other mini drivers, like what motorcyclists do?

What's the MINI wave you ask? It a friendly little gesture us MINIacs have with other MINI drivers. A thumbs up, a quick wave, we're not fussy as long and we recognize the other MINI driver on our motoring adventures.
