Bought a Mini!!!
Obligatory first post, after looking at many different cars, went with a 2010 Mini Cooper from Carmax (got the 100,000 mi, 6 yr warranty).
Pedal feel is good, love the shifter and short throws. Mostly my wife will be driving but it's a lot of fun even without turbo. Great gas mileage and options installed on it. We have the spare tire (not run-flat tires) and moon-roof, I think those are the only installed options.
This is the stock image of our car, different wheels on ours though, only 5-spoke 15" wheels.

Find a local club and go for a fun day of motoring with them and see what your treasure really can do, not to mention meet some other enthusiasts!
