I just preordered my first mini, the new 2014 hardtop cooper S.

Manual tranny, volcanic orange with black stripes. to say the least I'm pretty excited to get it. They started production about 7 days ago.

unfortunately a guy is buying my truck this Wednesday so we'll be carpooling or something until the mini shows up. I do own a Harley so I'll ride that when I can but tomorrow calls for 3-6 inches of snow so I think that'll be out of the question at least until next week when its supposed to warm up.

anyway, I found your site to get info on tracking my mini build and info on timelines for receiving it. Dealer said end of April but I'm thinking that might be optimistic at this point.

3"-6" of snow you say, where are you located. They are predicting a 50% chance of flurries here in Chicago. I must say, we are completely done with old man winter.

 

I'm in Kentucky, weather guessers keep changing it now it's just a slushy mix. I'll take that over 6 inches! I'm done with winter as well. I've been reading in here. Being a new mini guy I've got a bunch to read and learn.

just to add some more info while I wait.....I sold off a rockcrawling jeep and am currently trying to sell my truck (the last sale fell through). here's a couple of pics of what I was driving....of course once I receive it I'll post of the new ride
