2010 cooper s

This is my girlfriends car and she got it brand new. It is the automatic version with paddle shift. She loves it but it is costing to much lately. Fun to drive but expensive. It is now time to replace the alternator. Has 58,000 miles. Going to need timing chain next. Will try to do what work I can myself but who knows. Thanks for reading

Now I'm getting worried. I have a 2010 MCS Camden 50th anniversary edition. Warranty just expired , had the water pump and rocker cover/vacuum whatever replaced 6 weeks before end of warranty. I'm sweating loosing the engine to a timing chain failure. From what I've read, it helps to monitor your engine oil every other gasoline fillup.

Soon as I get another car this will no longer be daily driven. It's not worth driving for as much as it wants to break.

I have a Camden and running strong at 65k. Just put new turbo in tere for my upgrade/build for Stage 4 power. Nothing to worry about unless you're hearing things that aren't normal. You'll be fine. Forums make ppl paranoid....
