Google brought me here so much, I thought I should make myself at home

Hello All,

I've read lots of good information here before and decided to make an account. I've been driving an '05 Cooper S for almost two years and I love it, starting to think of small modifications, see what is useful.

Welcome. NAM does a great job of keeping the MINI community informed. A 15% or there abouts supercharger pulley and a 19 or 22mm rear sway bar are the two best bang for the buck mods that one may consider.

welcome aboard! i was also turned onto NAM from numerous searches on google that ended up here. theres more helpful information on this sight than i have found anywhere! and many things from maintaining your mini to mods and upgrades have write ups with very detailed step by step instructions and even pictures.

Welcome, and I too was brought here by Screwgle so many times I finally joined... Years ago!
You will find some great stuff in the archives mostly, but this site has slowed down A LOT for us performance minded R53 owners. Dont get me wrong, there is still a lot of info here, and some people that can still set you straight! A lot of the best gurus are gone or banned though... (They can be found on other sites, or have forums of their own)
This is still a good place to poke around and find out what is happening with MINI in general though.

Oh and I agree, a 15% pulley (if not previously installed) and a (hell go big or go home, the price is almost the same) 22mm adjustable rear swaybar with high quality endlinks to match are a great place to start! Also with the age... Some good, or even just new OE front lower control arm bushings are probably in order.

NAM was recommended on a Porsche board that I frequent...

This looks like the place to be for all things MINI
