Hi. My name is Jeremy and I'm married with 4 kids. The kids are all grown up now. We'd never had a nice car and my wife was saying how she'd like a convertible sporty car. So we started looking around and settled on the MCS. We found a very nice 2005 with 60,000 miles, Chili Red, 6-speed, HK stereo, 17" wheels. Picked it up for 10,500; $11k if you count the tires it needed right away. We've only had it a couple months and my wife is REALLY enjoying it! Buying her this car is one of my better moves as a husband

So I've been learning a lot about Mini's. Right now I'm trying to decide how to incorporate Bluetooth calling and streaming - looking at the GROM, Dension, Klat 7 and Parrot 9000 series kits.

I can relate Jeremy, my wife and I raised five kids. I wore out two second hand Suburbans and got half way through a 4 Runner by the time I could join the Mini world. Anyway, It's good to have you here!

Nice desertdog! I want to buy my wife one. As much as my wife would LOVE to drive my MINI, she won't drive stick on public roads. Lol. She Does great off road or in a parking lot, but Put her in a crowd and she wants her automatic! I guess I can't blame her. I'm a manual fan from my 1st car, 1987 Honda Civic Si. It's part of the experience. Dropping a gear and mashing the gas is just a rush.

It is a driving machine , I also love mine too .
Getting to your question about the Bluetooth if your Mini has a mini plug in it you can get this from Amazon it is called GOgrove smart mini AUX Bluetooth car kit it is a mike & Bluetooth all in one you plug it into the mini jack , mount the mike anywhere you want connect it to your phone & it will stream the music & make & answer calls through the car speakers . I have it & it works Great in my Mini here is a link at amazon , Drive On .

That is a nice Mini! Did you find it locally? I love those wheels. We have the same type. They remind me of the BMW M5 wheels we had on our 2002.

Thank you for the welcome y'all! We found the Mini on Craigslist in Prescott. It really is nearly perfect. Needed tires right away, and it had a slight coolant leak from the t-stat housing. I just replaced that gasket, problem solved! I like the wheels too :-D
